Everlasting Freedom

Mid BBQ's, firework shows, family gatherings, and outdoor celebrations, take time to consider the roots of our freedom. How is freedom expressed in your life?

Imagine, years ago, how different things were in our nation. As you ponder how we, those who call The United States home, have progressed from fear to freedom, express your gratitude to the One who has given us true and everlasting freedom.

"We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us" (2 Corinthians 1:10).

Be in continued prayer for yourself, neighbor, community, church, and nation and ask the Lord how you can partner with him in proclaiming freedom throughout our land. For, it is for freedom that Christ has set us free! (Galatians 5:1a).

Happy Independence Day!
