Prayer Pledge Committment Levels

Volunteering to pray for Revival in America doesn’t mean that you have to jump from personal private prayer directly to a community leadership role. Your prayers will be heard and you will be an intercessor, even as you speak with God in your most private, quiet moments. But some of the intercessors who volunteer with the National Prayer Registry will be moved by the Holy Spirit to take a more active role in praying for Revival in America. To help you find a level of prayer, here are our suggestions:

Level One and the Top Priority: Personal Private Prayer
Your pledge to pray daily for Revival in America is the act of worshipful obedience that will start and sustain Revival in America.

God wants to heal America and He has told us what to do. He has told us to pray. As we pray, His Holy Spirit will turn us from our wicked ways and God will heal America. A praying relationship with God in prayer is the only way. Pleading, begging and crying for our nation in conversational prayer; His Holy Spirit will tell us what we should do. Our relationship with Jesus and our praying are the source of our energy and our blessings.

It’s God’s plan to heal America. It’s His vision for America.

Level Two:
After you are anchored in daily prayer for Revival, add “prayer walking” in your neighborhood. As you walk your neighborhood, pray for every family in every house. This can be done individually or with a friend.

Level Three:
Visit the neighbors you know and invite them to pray for America. Tell them of your commitment to pray and ask them to join you in prayer for Revival in America.

Level Four:
Invite your neighbors to a neighborhood get-together. (God loves a good party!) Some suggestions are to host a pot-luck supper, a chili supper, an ice cream social, or a to watch a Christian movie (don’t forget the popcorn!). This is a great time to talk about a neighborhood prayer group.

Level Five:
Visit the local church and invite the local Pastor to join the National Prayer Registry at www.nationalprayerregistry.com. Ask them to challenge their church to pray for Revival in America.

Level Six:
Volunteer to be a Zip Zone Captain. This task is to encourage prayers in your zipcode and in other zipcodes.

Level Seven:
Volunteer to be a City Chairman to help coordinate spreading the excitement and encouraging more people to pray for Revival in America.

Level Eight:
Volunteer to be a State Chairman to seek prayer warriors and intercessors throughout the zipcodes in your state.

Prayer: The Work
of the Spirit

The Holy Spirit has been bestowed by the Father to breathe the very Spirit of His Son into our hearts. Our Lord desires us to yield ourselves as wholly to God as He did-to pray as He did, that God's will of love would be done on earth at any cost. As God's love is revealed in His desire for the salvation of souls, so also the desire of Jesus was made plain when He gave Himself for them. And He now asks that the same love would fill His people, too, so that they gie themselves wholly to the work of intercession and, at any cost, pray down God's love upon the perishing world.

Lest anyone should begin to think that this is beyond his reach, the Holy Spirit of Jesus is actually given into our hearts so that we may pray in His likeness, in His name, and in His power. It is the man who yields himself wholly to the leading of the Holy Spirit who will feel urged, by the compulsion of a divine love, to surrender himself completely to a life of continual intercession, because he knows that it is God who is working in Him.

Grant that by Your Holy Spirit there may be maintained in us the unceasing intercession of love for the souls for whom Christ died. Give to Your children the vision of the blessedness and power that come to those who yield themselves to this high calling. Amen.

What is a Zip Zone Captain?

There are 42,000 zipcode zones in the United States and our mission is to seek to have people praying for Revival in America in every single one of those zipcodes. A Zip Zone Captain will feel moved to encourage other intercessors to pray for Revival both in their zipcode and in other zipcode zones throughout America.
